Filling in the Blanks fights childhood hunger by providing children in need with meals on the weekend. Each weekend a child is sent home with a bag of nutritious food which consists of 2 breakfast and 2 lunch items, 4 snacks, 1 veggie, 2 containers of milk and a fresh piece of fruit. Children in the program either qualify for the free or reduced priced lunch program are part of the ALICE population. FIB allows children to come to school Monday morning alert and ready to learn.
