We are raising money to provide our 12-week African Drumming Program to 30 – 35 local homeless children.

Through this program our children learn not only how to play the drums, but also learn about geography, teamwork, gain confidence, and so MUCH MORE.

The impact of homelessness is devastating. Nowhere is this more evident than with homeless children.

  • Are sick 4x more than children who are not
  • Have 4x the rate of delayed development
  • Have 3x the rate of behavioral/emotional problems
  • Have 2x the rate of learning disabilities

Most programs that serve the homeless families do not focus on the children within them.

Inspirica does.

Check out children participating in our African Drumming Program:

Our African Drumming Program project benefits homeless school-aged children ages 5 – 18 currently residing in our Family Housing Program. On average, there are 30 – 35 school-aged children that attend Youth Center and participate in the cycles of African-Drumming. For more information on our programs please visit us here.

This project raises funds to provide this program to 30-35 of these children.

Cost to provide a 12-week African Drumming Program to 30-35 local homeless children: $1,200
