ACCESS provides educational and supportive services to middle and high school students to prepare them for college and careers in STEM.

We are raising money to allow 9 young people to compete in the Robotics Competition at the National Convention of the 2018 National Society of Black Engineers!

This year the 44th Annual National Convention will take place March 21-25 in Pittsburgh, PA.

The convention demonstrates NSBE’s commitment to lead the United States in graduating 10,000 Black engineers annually by 2025. The Annual Convention showcases Black students and professionals who have a passion for STEM, who are high achievers in these fields and who are channeling their dedication to advance their communities and society at large.

The ACCESS NSBE Jr. Chapters are designed to stimulate interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics fields, or STEM. This project will help to provide some of the costs of attendance for these 9 aspiring engineers, such as:

  • roundtrip transportation to the conference
  • housing
  • registration

Cost to help 9 young people compete in the Robotics Competition at the National Convention of the NSBE: $1,800

Thank you for your donation. 100% of the donation you make to The Impact Vine will go directly to the 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization listed on this page, directed toward the project detailed above.  You will receive an emailed tax receipt to support your tax-deductible contribution. Thank you
